A-ron Bondaroff and Al Moran are launching a little side project. Monday night, the 18th, is the grand opening of BAR. It’s going to be our own watering hole in downtown Miami. Rotating artists designing the space every two months, cheap drinks, easy vibe. A clubhouse for the creative community. The first artist taking over the space is local favorite Freegums (me). If you’re in town check it out.

OMNIBOT tshirt contest

The OMNI Board of Tourism (TheOMNIBOT.COM), has extended their deadline for t-shirts to be submitted for their T-Shirt Wall at the Scope Art Fair. Come drop off one t-shirt that you designed at their Pop-Up Party II Friday November 27th here (2411 Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 2, Miami, Fl), from 7pm to Midnight.

They have complimentary Grolsch beer, illy coffee, t-shirts, and fabric paint. So if you don’t have a t-shirt or any art supplies, don’t worry, The Omnibot’s got your covered.

Visitors to the Scope Art Fair December 2 – 6, will fill out ballots to vote on the winning design, and have the first chance to buy your t-shirt. If you’re looking to find small diamonds in the rough, look no further. In its second edition, Art Basel Miami Beach finds her baby sibling at SPINELLO GALLERY. LITTLEST SISTER 09, the smallest art fair in town, is conveniently located in the Design District and is sandwiched between Design Miami, Art Miami, Photo Miami, Scope, and Red Dot. The FREE art fair consists of 8 booths, all 4′ x 8′ in size. The scaled down booths uniquely house over 50 of today’s most provocative artists with a predominant focus on local Miami artists, curated by Art Fair Founder, Anthony Spinello.

LITTLEST SISTER 09 is a fragment of the explosive satellite art fair phenomena; exploring the “booth” as a venue to exhibit and sell art. Since 2002, every December the glamorous art typhoon – Art Basel Miami Beach, takes place in sunny Miami, Florida. The international art show takes place in Miami Beach. It is the American sister event of Art Basel in Switzerland, the most important annual art show worldwide for the past 39 years. 7 years later, the effects of Art Basel Miami Beach spawned 20+ “satellite” art fairs throughout Miami, housing 1100+ galleries and alternative spaces from around the world.
